First Haircut

 Only five months old and he already needed a haircut.
 His hair wasn't this long anywhere else on his head, it's just this one long patch. Weird.

Bowling For Birthdays

My niece chose bowling for her birthday activity. Little Bird was a little scared in the beginning, but ended up with the highest score between all the cousins. The adults played a couple of games and I was the worst both times. I did however improve my score by three the second time around (75 first round 78 second...AWESOME!!)

Do you see that incredible form? The floors were so slippery I was trying not to fall down and if you accidentally crossed the line you got a foul. Too many things to worry about.

One way to calm down Little Bird. Give her some food.

Ruffles

These pants were too short and a bit tight. Problem solved.

Two of my old white shirts and three men's t-shirts turned into a fun ruffled skirt.

Derby Time

The Chief has a few years before his first Pinewood Derby, but it was fun to go to my nephew's while we wait. My dad and uncle did an amazing job decorating the church, and the troop hired someone with a track. It's pretty sophisticated with times down to the thousandth of a second.

The grey car with the red and white stripes is my nephew's. For refreshments there were snack bags with licorice, a rice krispies treat and a small bottled water.

My cute, I mean handsome, nephew.

Easter Sunday

We all had the chance to be bunnies this morning.

We wanted to take pictures this morning but didn't have time. This is what happens when you try to take pictures after church.

We stooped to bribery and said she could have a treat if she smiled at the camera. :)

She might not be happy, but the skirt I made looks better than I thought it would.

Birthday Girls

My niece's birthday is March 17th and Little Bird's is March 21st. Since we were going to be in Arizona for both of their birthdays we had a combined party. Hubby's parents are in Arizona for work so we were able to see them too.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cake

One cake and two candles.

My Brother-in-Law went to Mexico on his mission and I guess they do this there.

Little Bird had a lot of fun opening presents. She kept saying "Oh yes" when she would open something she liked...which was everything.

Grandma Nielsen made a cute She Ra card.
