During the month of June Lizard's school library is giving away free books. You can go once a day (every weekday if you like) and pick out a Scholastic book. We have gone five times and the first time we were able to get two books per person so that makes 24 books total. The books are actually good ones too, I have enough books in the house that even if they are free I don't want them unless they're fun to read. My sister is coming into town this week so I think we might make one last visit to pick out some books.
In addition to the free books they also have play stations set up for the kids.
You can see the boxes of books in the background. They are broken up into categories: Chapter Books, Early Readers and Picture Books.
